Alumni of Babcock University, Ilisan- Remo, Ogun State and some industry experts have shared valuable success tips with the Coral Graduating Class of 2024 of the university, emphasising the importance of a solution-oriented mindset.
They shared the tips as panelists at a recent event, tagged: “A Day with Stars” as part of the activities for the ongoing convocation ceremony.
They encouraged the graduates to adopt courage, self-belief, motivation, and determination to achieve success.
The panelists, according to the university’s spokesman, Dr Joshua Suleiman, in a statement, include Kayinsola Mba, Rita Bandoh, Mr. Ogra ‘Tega, Dr. Bode Oguntoke, Dr. Daniel Olugbenga, and Mr. Clemson Ayegbusi.
They, in turn, shared their personal experiences in their journey to success, stressing the significance of trusting in God and recognising the opportunities provided by the university to interact with industry experts and build a network.
They advised the graduates not to limit themselves to their degree or course of study, but to explore their passions and build a career around them.
They also told them that their degree certificates may not determine their career paths and therefore should discover what they love and passionate about and can easily lead them to success.
In his remark at the event, the President/Vice- Chancellor of the university, Prof Ademola Tayo, urged the graduating class to use the knowledge gained in the university and at the event to make positive impact as they go into the world.
