Bauchi APC Concerned Youths Group has passed a vote of confidence on the National Ex-officio of the party representing the state, Sirajo Dada.
The group described Dada’s performance in the just concluded general elections in his ward, Gamawa LGA, Bauchi North Senatorial District and the state as overwhelming.
The group in a Press Release issued on Monday, signed by its Chairman, Comr. Muhammad Muhammad called for immediate action by the National leadership of the party to avert what is said is a great compromise by some people.
The group condemned the “undue and unlawful” decision of the chapter Chairman of the party in Gamawa LGA, Hon Sale Supa in a letter signed by him stating the suspension of a party member which decision contravenes ALL the known tradition of the party and as such the decision stands condemnable in totality.
It stated that, “We want to submit to the party at all levels, that, we are recently aware of the tension created by one Hon Saleh Supa, an APC Chairman in Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State circulating an undue and consultatively released letter concerning a strong leader, an APC chieftain in Bauchi State, Hon Sirajo Dada.”
According to it,”We want to inform the party that, it was revealed that the Chairman was found compromised with some members of the party whose actions of the National Ex-officio of bringing unity and peaceful coexistence did not favour their personal interest and desire.”
The group stated that,”they ployed to work against him by making the trended release. It can be recalled that the National EX-OFFICIO has displayed so much expertise, sanity and warm commitments in ensuring the victory of the All Progressives Congress in all the two separate elections.”
“He worked together with all concerned and relevant stakeholders in Bauchi state and at the national level to ensure the Victory of the party at all levels which indeed he achieved,” the group claimed.
It added that,”We equally call for the party’s intervention at all levels to bring unity and understanding among the members of the party in Bauchi State including (Gamawa LG) to avoid unnecessary sethacks to the progress of the party.”
“We’re appealing to the party’s national leadership for proper and prompt actions against the perpetrators of such irrelevant publication particularly the Chairman of the Party in Gamawa LGA Hon Sale Supa who lacks expertise and critical study of a situation before proper application of actions against a fellow party member,” It added
