Nationnewslead report that Hon. Seun David Odofin was thrilled about the appointments of LAUTECH Alumni President and former Osun State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Engr. Lekan Badmus and Engr. Taye Fatai Adeyemi, the immediate-past Chairman of Boripe Local Government by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
President Tinubu had on Thursday, January 4, 2024 through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale announced the appointments of Engr. Fatai Taye Adeyemi as the Executive Director, Operations, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and also appointed Engr. Lekan Badmus as the new Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
The iconic politician and Member, House of Representatives candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for Ijesa North Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election expressed delight over the choice of the two Osun APC stalwarts by Mr President.
The Osun born-politician expressed firm belief that their appointments will significantly contributed to the growth of Marine and Blue Economy sector in the overall interests of the nation’s economy.
Odofin described the appointees as highly experienced professionals, thoroughbred politicians with tracking records of loyalty, sincerity, responsibility and selfless service.
He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his fairness in his administration’s appointments as he also appreciated the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy who doubles as the leader of Osun APC. Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for his exceptional leadership traits and reward for loyalty.
