FOUNDER of Cherubim and Seraphim El-Messiah Lagos, Primate Dr Kayode Adelugba, has appealed to Christians to learn to appreciate church leaders while still alive.
He said the culture of waiting to appreciate them after death was counter-productive and un-biblical.
Many of these church leaders, he said, have done so much for the body of Christ for which they deserve appreciation while alive.
Adelugba, who is the chairman of Moses Orimolade Mercyland, building committee, pointed out that one of such leaders worthy of commendation is Rev Mrs Esther Ajayi.
Ajayi, according to him, is an “icon of unity in the Christendom and Deborah of our time in our nation.”
He added: “Our leader, Reverend Esther Ajayi’s sterling contributions towards the body of Christ in the Christendom and her outstanding philanthropic gestures towards the masses deserve a worthy commendation.
“As a builder of Christian Faith and Pathfinder of repute in the vineyard of God, she has over the years consistently championed, inculcated, and navigated modern evangelistic methods in the C&S church worldwide.
“Parts of a noteworthy initiative program is the forthcoming programme tagged, “Celebrating the Comforter,” he stated.
