The Founder and CEO of Aribisala Care Foundation, Barrister Abiodun Aribisala, an internationally recognized tax consultant and a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has expressed deep sympathy to the wife, children, and family of the late Irewole Council Chairman, Hon. Prince Remi Abass. He also extended his condolences to the people of Ikire in Irewole Local Government and the entire APC family in Osun State following the tragic killing allegedly carried out by unknown assailants linked to political violence.
In a statement released by Barrister Abiodun Aribisala, he described the death of Hon. Remi Abass as a shocking and great loss to the APC family in Osun State. He emphasized the significant impact of the late Chairman’s leadership and contributions to his community and party.

“The death of Hon. Remi Abass came as a shock and a great loss to the APC family in Osun State. His leadership and dedication to public service will be greatly missed,” Aribisala stated.
He urged the people of Osun State to maintain peace and unity, stressing that political differences should not lead to violence and the destruction of lives and properties. Aribisala emphasized the need for tolerance and peaceful coexistence regardless of political affiliations.
“I appeal to the people of Osun State to allow peace to reign. No political gain is worth the loss of lives or the destruction of properties,” he added.
Barrister Aribisala also sympathized with other individuals affected by the political crisis in the state. He condemned the attacks on Hon. Remi Omowaiye’s bus and office in Ilesa, as well as the assault on Hon. Tobi Famurewa, describing the incidents as unfortunate and avoidable.
He called on Governor Ademola Adeleke to take decisive action in ensuring peace and security in the state. Aribisala reminded the Governor, as a beneficiary of judicial decisions, to respect the rule of law and encourage his supporters to seek legal redress at the Supreme Court if dissatisfied with the Appeal Court’s ruling that reinstated APC Council Chairmen and Councilors.
“As a product of the judiciary, Governor Adeleke should understand the importance of respecting court decisions. If dissatisfied, the Supreme Court remains the legitimate avenue for appeal, not violence,” Aribisala advised.
He urged Governor Adeleke to take responsibility for the security situation in the state, emphasizing that the political differences should not lead to bloodshed or attacks on innocent citizens.
Barrister Abiodun Aribisala concluded by calling for calm and urging all political stakeholders in Osun State to prioritize peace and stability above political rivalry.
