However, it was duly incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on the 24th of August 2016 the No 1 Subscriber advocacy with over 208 million telephone Subscribers across Six geopolitical in Nigeria.(ATCIS) has been the leading telecom masses advocacy body since it was founded in 2014 with over 75 landmark achievements, as at Dec.2020 it has cost us #365 million Naira and 600 Publication (local, international and online news) to Nigerian subscribers ON SELF SPONSOR without any government agency

 

The National President Prince Sina Bilesanmi condemns the issue of NIMC that happened to its members by mistreating them across Nigeria which later metamorphosed to strike action.

The National President said it is a shame to any authority and charged the Federal Government, Minister for Communication, the NCC and NIMC if they are true leaders, they need to come out and apologize to our members and thousands of subscribers willing to come out and do their National Identity Card.

 

ATCIS National President Prince Sina Bilesanmi has said the ongoing National Identification Number enrolment Must Be Suspend because of COVID-19 risks.

He said yesterday make it a year ago ATCIS wrote DG, NIMC for solution in term like this also urged the National Identity Management Commission to go back to the drawing board, Call Stakeholders Meeting for solutions and re-order the enrolment process to avoid large crowds at its centres nationwide.

Bilesanmi charge all member of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, said the government has a duty to ensure Nigerians are protected at all times.

Sina Bilesanmi spoke on Monday while featuring on Radio Lagos 107.5fm, Ojutaye programme and Silver bird Tv interview in front of Lagos center also show the picture of difference centres “I don’t feel good looking at the picture where my members of ATCIS are gathered in multitude; it’s like a superspreader event which we don’t like. But I’m also aware that the relevant ministry which is the communications and digital economy is looking at this.

“My understanding is that the whole process must be suspend so as to reorder the whole process in terms of management of the crowd because it was never intended that it would become a rowdy process like that.”

 

Sina Bilesanmi said “he think our rulers have a duty as government to ensure that people are protected; we also have a duty to ensure people comply within the limit of what is good for the society at larget hat NIMC workers embarked on strike last Thursday over exposure to COVID-19 risks, lack of personal protective equipment and poor funding. The workers, however, called off the industrial action some 24 hours later. He said the right of subscribers must stand out in any way or any form, he also appeal to all the NIMC staff and promised them that they are behind them. He said the staff are fighting for their right and the necessary things they need the government or their agency must do that including all the management of the NIMC must come to the aid of their staff and what they are fighting for (ATCIS) are in support of their right because the welfare of the staff must be dully give to them and according to the communicate issue to let people know that what they are fighting for they really mean it.

Bilesanmi said NIMC workers embarked on strike last Thursday over exposure to COVID-19 risks, lack of personal protective equipment and poor funding. The workers, however, called off the industrial action some 24 hours later.

 

The Federal Government through the Nigerian Communication Commission had ordered telecommunications companies to deactivate telephone lines of subscribers who failed to link their phones to their National Identity Number. It also said telecoms subscribers with NIN have January 19 as deadline to link their NIN with their SIM cards while subscribers without NIN have until February 9 to do so.
