Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is said to have not yet responded to the invite of the Chatham House to speak ahead of Nigeria’s general elections.
Alex Vines, the Chatham House director of the Africa Programme, revealed this on Monday in his opening remarks while hosting the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi at the Chatham House, in London.
The director disclosed that the independent policy institute had earlier hosted the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

He said, “We have sent an invitation to the candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar but he is yet to reply to our invitation.”
