Once again, bandits have stormed the Kidandan community in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State over their failure to pay levies, resulting in the evacuation of the community.
This incident follows the recent drone attack that claimed over 100 lives in Tudun Biri.

As of when this report was filed, the community resembles a graveyard, with many residents fleeing to neighbouring towns. The village has been under attack for the past week.
Survivor Ibrahim Samaila, speaking to newsmen on Saturday, revealed that the hoodlums had been terrorizing the community due to farmers’ failure to pay levies imposed by the bandits.
“The bandits have been coming to Kidandan for the past six days, but this attack was devastating. They came, terrified us, stole, and abducted our people. Every resident in Kidandan lives in extreme fear,” he stated.
“Our women and children are leaving in droves. The number of those who embarked on this forceful and unprepared exodus would surprise you. They are moving to safety, perhaps to Zaria and other seemingly secure locations to squat with friends and relatives,” he added.
When contacted, the police spokesman, ASP Mansur Hassan, could not confirm the attack.
