Ben and Chizoba have become the first solo housemates to exit the Big Brother Naija house.
Sunday night was filled with tense moments as housemates faced probing questions from host Ebuka, who left no stone unturned in addressing key controversies in the house.
One of the night’s highlights was when Ebuka confronted Tjay for falsely claiming that Biggie ordered the housemates to end their relationships in order to focus on the game. Tjay quickly admitted that his interpretation of Biggie’s instructions was a personal one, leaving the housemates in shock.
Kassia also found herself under scrutiny as she elaborated on her suspicions regarding Onyeka’s closeness to the twins. According to Kassia, Onyeka’s actions were more about strategy than genuine connection, sparking debates among the housemates.
The spotlight shifted to Shaun and Wanni’s relationship when Shaun openly admitted he had no issues with Wanni calling herself his girlfriend, even though he hadn’t officially claimed the title of “boyfriend.” This led to further discussions as Wanni had earlier expressed her view that Shaun was the only “respectable” male in the house, excluding Topher and Sooj, a sentiment that left Nelly unimpressed.
As the housemates entered the diary room to discuss the aftermath of Biggie’s parrot exposing private conversations, Tjay’s reign as Head of House (HoH) and other house dynamics, questions arose about the relationship between Ozee and Victoria.
The two faced speculation after a rumoured kiss, with viewers eager to see how this storyline develops.
Ocee, however, was adamant that his intentions were solely competitive, denying any attempts to undermine Ben for personal reasons. In his defence, Ben declared that he viewed Ocee as part of his alliance with Chizoba, stating, “We’re one big family. I wouldn’t want to take him out.”
Despite the friendship expressed, Ben and Chizoba were ultimately voted out, becoming the first solo eviction of the season.
