Big Brother Naija Season 9 pair housemates, Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh (Team Streeze), have opened up about their shocking eviction from the BBNaija house.
Recall that the reality stars were evicted from the show last week Sunday alongside the pair of Rhuthee and DJ Flo, known as Flourish.
Speaking with journalists, Forge revealed that he believed their “strong personalities, creativity, and strengths” made them a “threat to other contestants” — leading to their eviction.
“I just felt like it was the normal case. I was surprised and not surprised at the same time because maybe we were lowkey threats in the house. Our duo, personality, creativity, and strength and we were doing the right things. Too many people had it in for us and we did not know because we were cool with them,” he said.
“It was surprising, shocking, a bit disappointing but like I said they felt threatened. It was not like we were winning tasks back to back, it was just a personal conflict of interest. And so winning the custodian challenge the week prior, also made them line up towards that direction.”
Also speaking, Frosh echoed similar sentiments and stated that he was initially hurt by their eviction from the reality show.
The reality star, however, said he has since moved on and bears no resentment towards his fellow housemates.

“For me, it was quite shocking because it was not until the last week that we left that I realized that some people were not as real as we thought they were or how I presumed. I came up with a subtle approach to creating bonds and friendships, I was not making friends with an underlying intent but that was not the case with some people but that’s fine,” he said.
“Maybe that was their strategy, they came in a game and no one can blame anyone for having a strategy. But it just can hurt you, as humans it hurts. I’ve been out for like two days now, I’m over and I’m just looking forward to the possibilities ahead and baring no resentment.”
