ON the 30th of May 2022, all roads led to Hengee Resort to celebrate a superman, a man of the people, and a thoroughbred scholar, Dr. Waheed Oyelola Balogun, who added another year of great feats and worthwhile accomplishments.
AFTER a series of Quranic verses and supplications to give Glory and Honour to God Almighty for the great exploration and the gift of life by the council of Ulamahis in his residence, a get-together of that nature is essential where people gathered to eat, wine, and dine to honor the birth of a great man with high charismatic personality.
DESPITE the frosty nature, the league of well-wishers in their high figures found it interesting and exhilarating to attend a birthday bash of Dr. Balogun, not because of the yummy and boomy sound of Hengee Resort but because of the value they had for brotherhood. What money can not buy was bought yesterday by Fedpoffa DSA with respect, humility, and calmness.
FROM afar, I felt the zephyr of glamour, elegant and charming look of the celebrant with his beautiful family, and friends, all rejoicing the birth of Omo Balogun of Offa with the emblem of equity and justice. It was a blissful moment with the stench of crisp fruit juice for refreshment. We were all there singing and chanting to the rhythm of cool lyrics.
LIKE other great men that I have encountered, Dr. Balogun’s case is not different. He is a man whose ‘Yes’ remains on track for what is right. His forehead is laced with the affluence of grace and peace of mind while his physique speaks volumes of massive grace and Allah’s Rahmah. Through quality knowledge and research, he has made his name count among renowned scholars of repute in the field of Engineering. Glory be to God!
THIS piece will not make a good recipe without accolades to our host, the architect of peace and great transformation, a pundit in the field of architecture, son of the soil with a wealthy diadem, Architect Fatai Olatinwo, and his wife, Alhaja Idiat Olatinwo. It is not an exaggeration that I still feel the taste of Hengee’s pepper soup. What we witnessed yesterday was the joy of brotherhood, the bond of love and peace between the Olatinwo and Balogun’s family. The celebration was one of its kind to stand the thirst of time. I enjoyed myself to the fullest.
