The Federal Government is currently holding its last meeting with the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria and Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria with a view to ending the ongoing strike action by the bodies.
The unions embarked on the trade dispute following the refusal of governors to implement autonomy for state legislature and judiciary.
The meeting which is said to be taking place at the office of the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, has in attendance the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba and others.
A great achievement would be recorded with the suspension of the strike and the final endorsement of autonomy for legislature and judiciary.
