Having received wide acceptance from his people of Avu Community prior to his declaration to represent Owerri Federal Constituency at the green chambers , frontline house of representatives hopeful , High Chief Buchi Oparaugo on the 16th April , 2022 made his intentions known to “Nzuko Owerre” social political organization.
Our correspondent reports that this outing took place at the Agbala residence of Hon. Dan Ikpeazu who is the progenitor of this socio-cultural group.
Speaking at the meeting which was largely attended, High Chief Buchi Oparaugo, the Avu born oil and estate magnet reassured members of “Nzuko Owerre” of his resolve to offer effective and qualitative representation if elected as well as empower youths of his Federal constituency.
Ohamadike” as he is fondly called described his ambition as divine and an opportunity to restore the legislative confidence of his people .In his speech, Hon Dan Ikpeazu stated that “Nzuko Owerre” as a non political organization will always welcome their members aspiring for political positions.
The former Owerri North State lawmaker urged Chief Buchi Oparaugo to sustain the momentum while aggressively sensitizing his people from grassroot noting that only God gives power.
