Nationnewslead reports that The councillor representing Ward D Anthony in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Idowu Oluloro, has donated a 14-seater bus to Anthony Model Nursery/Primary School. At the presentation, Oluloro said the gesture was borne out of his passion to serve humanity and his love for children.
He recalled how he used his personal car to convey the pupils to school when he was newly sworn in. He, however, said the gesture was resisted by many so he sold his cat to buy the bus.
Oluloro hoped the gesture would encourage the pupils to focus on their studies. Former Sole Administrator of Kosofe Local Government Mrs. Adejumoke Animahun enjoined political office holders to emulate Oluloro’s gesture of giving back to the people.
