Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State has restricted the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from engaging the services of the chairman of the Lagos Parks and Garages, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, to distribute election materials in the State.
Recall that the Labour Party (LP) had sought a court order to bar MC Oluomo, a prominent figure in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), citing concerns over his alleged association with political violence and thuggery.
