The Customs Officers Wives Association (COWA), Federal Operations Unit (FOU) ‘A’, has concluded 2024 with a festive end-of-the-year party and a donations to widows and retirees.
The event, held recently at the Customs Training College, Ikeja, was graced by the presence of COWA National President, Mrs. Kikelomo Adeniyi, who expressed her pride in the association’s growth and achievements.
According to bar, “We have come a long way, and it gives me so much joy to see how far we have gone within this period of time that we reinvigorated COWA. We have faced challenges, overcome obstacles, and supported each other through thick and thin. So today, we have come to support our triumph and celebrate sisterhood”.
Adeniyi emphasised the crucial role of COWA members as partners, supporters, and pillars of strength to their husbands. She encouraged them to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact on society.

In her address, COWA FOU ‘A’ chairperson, Mrs. Titilayo Oladeji, expressed gratitude to the national president, the management team, and fellow executives for their support. She also hinted at exciting initiatives planned for the coming year.
The beneficiaries of the donation were overwhelmed with gratitude, and expressed hope for a brighter future. “We will spread the word about COWA’s good work and we wish them all the best”, Chioma Osuji, one of the beneficiaries stated.
