The Recording Academy has announced the official nominations for the highly coveted 2025 Grammy Awards, featuring many Nigerian music artistes.
The 67th edition of the GRAMMYs will take place on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Nigerian artistes who received nominations include Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, Asake, Yemi Alade, Rema, and Lojay.
Davido and Lojay were nominated in the Best African Music Performance category alongside global star Chris Brown for their song, Sensational.

Also in this category, Asake and Wizkid received a nomination for their hit song MMS, while Tems was nominated for Love Me Jeje.
Other Nigerian artistes nominated in this category include Burna Boy and Yemi Alade, with their respective songs ‘Higher’ and ‘Tomorrow’.
Nigerian artistes also secured nominations in the Best Global Music Album category, with Tems receiving a nomination for her album Born in the Wild, while Rema made the list with his album Heis.
