The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in charge of Administration and Finance, DIG Bala Ciroma, arrived in Bauchi on Wednesday to conduct an on-the-spot assessment in response to the ongoing national protests.
The visit signifies the Nigerian Police Force’s commitment to upholding law and order in the state during this critical period.
Upon arrival, DIG Bala Ciroma, alongside the Assistant Inspector General in charge of Zone 12, AIG Julius Alawari, and the Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, CP Auwal Musa Mohammed, visited major deployment locations across the state, including Azare town, where a curfew was imposed due to security concerns.

DIG Bala Ciroma reiterated the Police Force’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and community engagement.
