An Ibadan-based property merchant, Alhaji Sufianu Kazeem, popularly known as Su-Kazeem, has cautioned labour unions in the country not to sabotage the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led federal government of Nigeria in its endeavour to restore the country’s economy.
Alhaji Kazeem stated this in a statement made available through his media office in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Sunday.

He warned members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) not to be used as agents of distraction to the federal government and emphasized that they must never, at any point in time, be seen as tools being used by enemies of the country.
He added that Nigeria as a nation is bigger than any individual, group, union, or political party, and as such, labour unions under any guise should not be saboteurs to the efforts of national development.
Kazeem, despite the mixed reactions to the policy by Nigerians, has since backed President Tinubu on the petrol subsidy removal policy and pleaded with Nigerians to exercise patience with the government. He further stated that, in the end, Nigerians will have cause to appreciate the steps taken by President Tinubu.
