One of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants, Dr Sanusi Ohiare has disagreed with the ongoing conduct of the primary election holding in the State.
Dr. Sanusi while speaking on Friday in Adavi Eba Ward of Adavi LGA, described the election as not in accordance with the APC Constitution for the direct primary election.
He said party members had come out in their numbers to exercise their right, lamented that several hours after no electoral materials and personnel have been seen.
He said he has written a letter to the Chairman of the Congress and Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Bello Matawalle registering his displeasure and observed anomaly, pointing out that if not addressed he will head to court.
”Information available to me from the other 238 Wards in the State indicate that no election took place at the Ward.
” Recalled that same anomalies and secrecy in compiling the delegates lists made the court declare the delegates list as null and void.
”It is unfortunate that the same process is playing out again as no election is ongoing in the Ward”, warned against such abnormality as it could lead to a loss of the State by the APC as witnessed in other States.”
