The Benin Zone 1 Pastor of Christ Embassy, Pastor Moses Olayemi, has expressed hope that the fortunes of Nigeria could be turned around through the concerted efforts of its citizens.
Pastor Olayemi, who stated this during the kickoff of “Nigeria’s Independence Day Reachout World Nigeria” with Rhapsody of Realities to mark the 64th Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, stressed that Nigeria had all the qualities that could make a nation great.
The cleric listed the eight points that qualify a country to be great and factors that qualify a country to be strong, saying:
“Every nation has a soul, and the soul of a nation is the reflection of the soul of the people; the soul of the leaders is a reflection of the soul of the people. You cannot separate the leader from the people.”
According to him, “economic stability and prosperity, education and innovation, cultural richness and diversity, political stability and governance, environmental sustainability, international influence and diplomacy, social equity and inclusion, and quality of human life are what make a nation great.”
Pastor Olayemi said that a nation where people felt satisfied and safe despite the ranking of the person is said to be a great nation.
He further affirmed that truth was a reality, noting that only truth could be defined as reality, “and there is no reality without God, for reality can only be found in the Word of God.”
“Till you find God, you can never find truth.
“That is why all these qualities I itemised for you—because of selfishness—human beings cannot carry them out, even when they try to do them, and they do them for selfish reasons. So it doesn’t even achieve its aim.
“Strong nations are built on truth and honesty. Strong families, businesses, churches, organisations, governments, and politics are built on truth and honesty.
“A man without God can never find truth, and that is why I am honoured to be part of what my man of God is doing.
“We have declared that in 2024 we will reach the world with a Rhapsody of Realities, a Rhapsody of truth.
“We know with a copy of Rhapsody of Realities a rebirth will start because human nature has to change. Human beings are born to be selfish, but when you are born again, you just suddenly become selfless; you’ll have the nature of God,” he said.
He assured that if the distribution of Rhapsody of Realities was done intentionally, it would influence everyone supernaturally.
