The Acting Zonal Director of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kaduna Zonal Command, Benedict Ubi has expressed the agency’s desire to collaborate with the Niger State Police command.
Ubi stated this during a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman
He asserted that his operational coverage includes Kaduna and Niger States, hence his reason to visit the Commissioner of Police in the state to collaborate with the Police, share experience on areas of interest, and mutual collaboration as well as training programs.
In his response, the Commissioner of Police, State Command acknowledged that he had been receiving EFCC officers on investigation activities in the State and assured of the Command’s assistance where necessary.
He further expressed the readiness of the Police in the state to continue to cooperate and collaborate with the agency when the need arises.
He noted that crime fighting has a lot of challenges, and that different crime issues also revolve around economic activities, therefore, the EFCC is needed to assist and together, the society will be sanitized, safer and better for all.
“Be rest assured of our cooperation at all times, ” he said
