Emir of Suleja, His Royal Highness Mallam Muhammad Awwal Ibrahim, CON, has appreciated the successes and efforts so far recorded by the Niger Police Command especially in Suleja Emirate, under the leadership of the state Police Commissioner, Ebenezer Shawulu Danmamman.
The royal father made the remark while receiving the Police Commissioner and his team in his palace on Wednesday 19th June 2024 while on a visit.
Mallam Auwal however, pointed out other challenges where attention is required, he later offered royal blessings to the Commissioner of Police.
In his remark, the CP noted with a deep sense of responsibility in the quest of community policing principles and values, adding that the support of traditional institutions is very vital, hence he appreciated the Emir for his support to the Police and other security agencies in Suleja.
In continuation of the Commissioner of Police’s tour of Niger State Police Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman also visited and interacted with the local government council chairmen of Suleja, Tafa, and Gurara LGAs who are Hon. Isyaku Bawa Nai’bi, Hon. Danladi Iyah and Hon. Abdulalim Abubakar.
The CP and his lieutenants visited the Commanding Officer, 102 Guards Battalion, Suleja, Lt. Col. M.J. Abdulkarim, where he appreciated the collaborative effort of the Army with the Police in curbing crime around Garam, Ijah-Gwari, Chachi, Jibi and Gauraka areas of the State.
He proceeded to the Area Command, Suleja led by the Area Commander, ACP Sani Musa.
CP Danmamman seized opportunity of the visit to lecture officers and men on working within the ambit of the law and being courteous, civil, and polite.
He also charged them to be disciplined, sensitive, focused, diligent, and above all, professional in the line of duty.
He interacted with other stakeholders such as NBA Suleja Chapter, PCRC, Vigilante, Hunters, and other eminent personalities during the lecture.
Meanwhile, Senior officers among the CP’s entourage include DC Operations, DCP Falade Micheal, Commander 12PMF Minna, ACP Taiwo Kasumu, 2i/c SID, SP Markus Alima, and PPRO, of the state Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun.
