Nationnewslead reports that Oluwasogo Adedapo, also known as Shogolee, the former President of NAMACOS at Osun State Polytechnic Iree, has refuted allegations of fraud leveled against him by his former girlfriend. Adedapo claims that the accusations stem from the woman’s attempt to tarnish his reputation.
In a recorded voice note provided to a correspondent at Nationnewslead, Adedapo asserted that Felicia, a National Diploma (ND) 2 Mass Communication student at Osun State Polytechnic Iree, was previously arrested by the police for stealing a phone during the first-semester examination. He stated that she was subsequently released on bail.
Adedapo further alleged that Felicia agreed to date him after her release from police custody and even lent him money during their relationship. According to him, despite her knowledge of his financial instability and the presence of another girlfriend, Felicia continued to lend him money. Adedapo claimed that she loaned him ₦50,000 initially, followed by an additional ₦40,000, and later, ₦10,000 for the December festivities.
However, Adedapo stated that Felicia abruptly ended their relationship over the phone during the December period. He mentioned that he repaid ₦20,000 of the ₦50,000 debt but explained his financial constraints when she demanded the remaining amount. Adedapo alleged that Felicia resorted to blackmail and falsely accused him of wrongdoing, even going as far as labeling him as wanted.
Despite efforts to contact Felicia for her side of the story, she could not be reached via chat or phone during the investigation period.
The allegations and counter-allegations present a complex situation, raising questions about the dynamics of the relationship between Adedapo and Felicia, as well as the veracity of the accusations against Adedapo. As the story unfolds, further details may emerge to shed light on the truth behind these claims.
