Families Seek Help as Couple-to-be Goes Missing After Alleged DSS Abduction in Osun

The families of Adesiyan Nuruden, a 26-year- old male, and Akintunde Kehinde, a 25-year- old female have kept worried over their missing son and daughter who whisked away by suspected security operatives.

It was gathered that the couple to be were forcibly taken by persons dressed in the uniform of the Department of State Services (DSS) on November 29, 2024, around 5:00 AM.

It was learnt that the suspected security operatives arrived at the scene with three Hilux vans and one Highlander with about eighteen personnel.

According to publication on national daily, the families of Adesiyan Nuruden, a 26-year- old male, and Akintunde Kehinde, a 25-year- old female, are seeking the public’s assistance in locating their loved ones, who were forcibly taken by individuals dressed in the uniform of the Department of State Services (DSS) on November 29, 2024, around 5:00 AM.

In a letter signed by Mr. Akintunde Gbenga and Mr Adesiyan Boyenle for the families said that this incident occurred at Arowosola Quarters, Ajape, Modakeke, Ife East, Osun State.

“The officers was reported to have arrived at the scene in three Hilux vans and one Highlander with about eighteen personals

“The families have made formal reports regarding this disturbing incident to several authorities, including the DSS office at Eleyele, Ile-Ife, More Police Station lle-Ife, Modakeke Police Division, and the DSS office in Osogbo.

“Additionally, the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights (CDHR) has officially communicated with the Director of DSS and the Commissioner of Police of Osun State in a letter dated December 9, 2024. Unfortunately, as of the time of this publication, no response has been received.
