The Federal Polytechnic Ayede recently marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new governing council.

Led by Rector, Dr Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, the ceremony, held in Abuja, welcomed esteemed members of the new governing council, committed to steering the institution towards greater achievements.

The council members were Mrs Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu, Alhaji Aminu Bala Sokoto, Chief (Mrs) Monisola Tegbe, Alhaji Modu Goba Minter and Chief Matthew Adesanya.
Their collective expertise, according to the Rector, promises to enhance governance and strategic direction at the Federal Polytechnic Ayede and ensure its sustained growth.

In a statement following the inauguration, Dr Abdul-Hameed commended the council members for their dedication to service and expressed confidence in their ability to shape the institution’s future.

“I warmly welcome our esteemed Governing Council members and congratulate each on their appointment,” remarked the Rector, highlighting the pivotal role their experience will play in advancing the Polytechnic.

Stressing collaborative leadership and sustainable development, Abdul-Hameed underscored the importance of innovative strategies in teaching, research, and community engagement.
He lauded Adelabu’s appointment, recognising her leadership as a catalyst for positive change and excellence.

Abdul-Hameed extended his best wishes to the council members, urging them to work together towards the polytechnic’s strategic goals.

He said the Ayede community eagerly anticipates the council’s contributions towards academic excellence and holistic development.

The newly inaugurated council members expressed their commitment to upholding integrity and accountability in their roles.

Adelabu affirmed her readiness to advance the polytechnic’s interests as the chairman.

“I am committed to leveraging my networks for our institution’s progress,” she declared, stressing the power of collaboration in achieving transformative outcomes.
