The Department of Library and Information Science of the Federal Polytechnic Offa has organized a seminar for both Staff and Students of the department.
The Programme was held at the Library and Information Science Conference Room Main campus, on 1st June, 2022.
Speaking at the event, the immediate past Director of Research and Innovation, Dr. A.S Mohammed enlightened Staff on how to write Papers and Journals, he explained how to use Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to search for recent Journals on google to serve as a guide in writing papers and also in literature review.
In the same development, he trained the students on how to write a faultless project. According to him, “Ensure you get the accurate project topic, then develop it sequentially, Don’t copy and paste from the internet, go through the processes, avoid repetition as much as possible, summarize references in one or two pages.”
“Following the due process in project writing will earn the writer good grades and recommendations, “he added.
