A fire that broke out in the early hours of Monday has gutted the Katsina Government House. Fortunately, no lives were reported lost.
The fire, which destroyed the governor’s chamber, is also said to have affected parts of the governor’s office.
An anonymous source at the Government House stated that the cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed.
Governor Dikko Umar Radda was not in town at the time of the incident. He is reported to be in Funtua on a scheduled local government tour to assess his administration’s performance.
