Founder of the Mike Loyibo Empowerment Foundation (MLEF), Chief Mike Loyibo, has distributed food items and cash gifts worth millions of naira to indigenes of Tuomo kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The gesture is part of efforts to ameliorate sufferings of the people occasioned by the economic hardship and hunger in the country.

Loyibo, who is the prime minister of the kingdom, made the gesture last weekend, stressing that it had become necessary for wealthy Nigerians to come out to the rescue of the needy from the hard economy.
Some of the items distributed included bags of rice, bags of garri, as well as cash gifts to the people with a charge to keep faith with God for a better economic system.
He also called on Delta people to support the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration, saying he is a leader who is grassroots-oriented”.
Beneficiaries, however, thanked the philanthropist for the gesture and prayed for him to soar higher in his endeavours.
