The Queen Adenike Tejuosho (QAT) Foundation, has donated food items to 500 vulnerable Nigerians living in Abuja as part of its effort to bring succour to them as a result of the hardship being experienced in the country.

This comes barely one week after the foundation awarded scholarships to 100 vulnerable and out-of-school children in the Karonmajige settlement in Abuja.

In a statement issued by the CEO of QAT Foundation, Hajiya Halimat Tejuosho noted that the gesture, was part of the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to supporting vulnerable Nigerians, particularly during this period of economic hardship.

Also she said the aim is to compliments the efforts of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasising the importance of collective efforts in addressing the country’s economic challenges.

The Philanthropist, who praised Tinubu’s policies, said it aligns with the Foundation’s mission to support vulnerable Nigerians and as such will continue to offer needed support for the government to achieve it’s desired goals.

She said the partnership with Federal Government will address some of the critical challenges of his government within a short period of time and as such, urged Nigerians to exercise patience with the federal government as contemporary challenges will soon become a thing of the past.

”The gesture is part of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable Nigerians, especially during these challenging economic times.

“We are proud to partner with President Tinubu’s administration to make a positive impact in the lives of Nigerians. Our Foundation is committed to supporting those in need, and we will continue to work tirelessly to achieve this goal inline with the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The partnership between QAT Foundation and President Tinubu’s administration is expected to yield more positive results in the coming months, as both parties work together to address the country’s economic challenges,” she said.

One of the beneficiaries, who spoke with newsmen shortly after the event, Mr. Abdullahi Dantani expressed that, “God will bless and reward her abundantly for this kindness because we are struggling to make ends meet, and this food will help us survive.

“This is the kind of people that we need in our governance space, people who prioritizes the welfare of the people not for their own selfish gain.

“The best way to solve Nigeria’s challenges is to give people like Hajiya Tejuosho the opportunity to serve the larger populace because if she can use her personal resources to support the less privilege, then we are confident that she will do better if given the privilege to serve at higher position.”

Items donated included rice, beans, noodles, vegetable oil, and other essential food items. The beneficiaries were also given cash gifts to support their small-scale businesses.
