Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has appointed Corps Commander, Cyril Zango Mathew, as the new Sector Commander, for Edo State Sector Command of the corps.
The Nigerian Tribune reports that Cyril took over from Corps Commander. Paul Okpe, who retired after reaching the retirement age of 60 years.
Until his recent appointment as the Edo State Sector commander, Cyril was the Head of Plants (HOP) NVTS Plants Lagos.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History from the University of Jos and has attended several Professional Courses, Training, Workshops to boost his career progression.
He has served in different capacities in the Corps and has also held several strategic positions in the Corps.
Handing over to the new Sector Commander, Paul Okpe charged the officers and men of the command to extend the support given to him to the new commander.
On his part, Cyril however solicited the support and cooperation of the officers to enable him to succeed in reducing accident rate in the state.
