Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has officially submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms to contest in the upcoming All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) primary election. His submission comes after the party cleared him to seek re-election for a second term as governor of the state.
Soludo’s candidacy was endorsed by APGA’s National Working Committee, led by Ezeokenwa Sly, who gave him the green light to run again. The announcement solidifies Soludo’s position as the party’s chosen candidate in the race for the 2025 governorship election.

Speaking at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja on Friday, APGA’s spokesman, Ejimofor Opara, described the governor as the first aspirant on the party’s platform to seek re-election, based on his track record of performance.

“As the party prepares for the primary election, APGA members and supporters are optimistic about the future of the Party and the state,” he said.
