Kebbi State Governor Comrade Dr Nasir Idris on Saturday flagged off the rehabilitation and reconstruction of four different township roads in Yauri Town at the cost of N3.854 billion.

According to a press statement made available to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ahmed Idris stated that the Governor at the Yauri market area, the venue of the flag, promised to continue to support the people of Yauri and provide them with the beauty of democracy.

The Chief Press Secretary quoted the Governor as saying that the contract which was awarded to the China Zhounghou Nig. Ltd. will cover the distances of 5.165k

Pointing out that the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the township roads is to gulp a total sum of N3,854,207,229.09 kobo and the work will commence from Local Government Secretariat to Dawanau Junction, to market roundabout, to Tashar Garkuwa, Garkan Dudu to Liberia junction and police station, via the Union Bank respectively.

The press statements also quoted the Emir of Yauri, Alhaji Dr. Zayyanu Abdullahi expressing satisfaction over the development recorded so far by the administration of Nasir Idris.
