Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo extended felicitation to the former Governor of the state, Captain Idris Ichalla Wada as he celebrates his 74th birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday by Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Ismaila Isah, Governor Ododo described Captain Wada as an exemplary leader, admired for his exceptional vision and humility.
The Governor highlighted Captain Wada’s steadfast commitment to the service of God and humanity, praising his significant contributions to the development of Kogi State during his tenure as governor from January, 2011 to January, 2016.
He also acknowledged Captain Wada’s enduring legacies, invaluable guidance and wise counsel which he noted continue to inspire the younger generation of leaders.
Governor Ododo wished him a joyous celebration and prays for long life and good health, so he can continue to enrich and inspire more lives in his service to the nation and humanity.
Born on August 26, 1950, in Dekina local government area, Captain Wada’s legacy spans a distinguished career as an accomplished pilot and administrator in the Nigerian Aviation industry, and a remarkable tenure as the governor of Kogi State.
