Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped a family of three and injured two people at the Dogon Ruwa community of Wase local government area of Plateau state.
Recall that some communities in the local government area have been under siege by terrorists for some time, while most of the inhabitants of communities under constant attack by the terrorists had since fled for their lives.

Tribune Online learnt that the gunmen, who were about ten in number, invaded the community in the early hours of Monday and killed a father, wife, and their four-year-old child and shot two others while escaping from the community.
A community leader in the area who carved anonymity stated that the incident occurred at about 10:00 am when most of the inhabitants had left for their various places of work, adding that they abducted the family who was their target and shot two others within the vicinity.
“When they arrived, they released gunshots into the air and went straight to the deceased’s house and abducted them at gunpoint.
They were forced into the waiting vehicle and drove away with members of the gang trailing behind on motorcycles.”
According to him, security men were later deployed to the community, adding that vigilantes and other local security outfits are combing the bush in the area to rescue those kidnapped.
However, the spokesman of the Plateau State Police Command, DSP Alfred Alabo, could not be reached for confirmation.
