Hon. Seun Odofin in his Christmas message described Christmas as a special period that brings peoples of the world together with one purpose; to celebrate togetherness, joy, peace, unity and to show love to one another through gifting especially the wealthy class to the less privileged around them.
‘As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I want to use this opportunity to admonished Christians faithful to imbibe the spirit of love, peace and perseverance. We must renew our minds towards living the life Jesus Christ lived while on earth. We should learn to exhibit the virtues of faithfulness, honesty and kindness, which Jesus Christ manifest’.
‘I appeal to our dear constituents to celebrate with moderation as they enjoy this season. The drivers and motorcyclists should take caution on the road to avoid road crashes and waste of human lives. They’re irreplaceable’.
‘On our part, we will continue to provide the necessary support to our people. We value them and their properties. We have graded many roads and provided Transformers to many communities to restore electricity. We also installed Solar Lights to help nip the activities of criminal elements in the bud in case there is power outage. This has helped our mothers and traders stay longer at night markets for optimum marketing and profit making’.
