IT t was, indeed, an electrifying praise party last Friday night till the dawn of Saturday when the House on the Rock Church hosted some of the country’s finest gospel ministers in dynamic and spirit-filled ministrations at a gospel concert tagged, “The African Praise Experience” 2024.

The event organised by the well-known Metropolitan Senior Pastor of the church, Paul Adefarasin, featured powerful sessions of praise and worship, along with intercessory prayers for Nigeria and its leaders. The gathering also had a significant spiritual and communal impact, promoting unity and hope.

The promising gospel minister Ebuka Songs, recommended by the ace comedian Akpororo to the convener of last year’s ‘The Experience’, made the list of TAPE 2024 as a first-timer. He did not disappoint, delivering a remarkable ministration that has continued to be the talk of the town.

Ebuka Songs endeared himself to the congregation by describing everyone as “fine boys and girls that love Jesus” during his performance. This charming and uplifting remark added to his impactful delivery, making a memorable impression on the attendees.

Bidemi Olaoba delivered an electrifying duet performance. Adeyinka Alaseyori, a sought-after gospel minister, made her second appearance on TAPE’s stage and turned the programme into a praise party with a double performance by popular demand.

The “Way Maker” singer, Sinach, filled the congregation with uplifting lyrics, encouraging them to worship at God’s feet. Other gospel ministers, such as Prinx Emmanuel, Beejay Sax, Onos Ariyo, Adeyinka Alaseyori, Eben, Mr M & Revelation, Frank Edwards, Minister GUC, and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir, also delivered powerful and soul-stirring performances that touched and changed lives.

Pastor Adefarasin also noted that TAPE represents a spiritual uplifting experience that celebrates unity in diversity, as Nigerians from different tribes, tongues, and cultures gather under one roof to pour lavish praise on the Creator of the universe.
