Isoko highlife musician, Arube Otor, popularly known as Isoko Fela, has opened up about how he plans to maintain harmony and satisfy his new three wives.

In an exclusive interview with PUNCH, the musician revealed his approach to keeping love and balance in his polygamous family.

Otor, who is already married to his first wife, has added three more women to his union and plans to marry two more. He said his decision to marry multiple women was inspired by the example set by his father, who had three wives.

“When my father was alive, he married three women, and it was a peaceful, harmonious family. There was no division between the children. This upbringing greatly influenced my decision,” Otor explained.

Addressing his approach to sexual satisfaction among his four wives, Otor shared that each wife will spend three days with him in rotation. “The sexual aspect will be rotational; if the first wife spends three days with me, the next one will stay for the following three days.

This ensures that each wife gets the attention she deserves,” he explained. He also mentioned that during these periods, the wife staying with him will also be responsible for preparing his meals.

Otor believes that fairness and clear communication are key to managing his multiple marriages. “I am firm in my decisions. I made it clear to my first wife, ‘If you truly love me and are still married to me, you must obey my rules.’ This clarity helps maintain peace and balance among all of us,” he said.

Living together under one roof, Otor insists that all his wives share a single household, fostering a sense of unity. “We live together harmoniously. They all reside in my compound, and we share everything as one family. That’s important to me,” he shared.

Despite some criticisms of his decision, Otor remains confident. “God rules my life, not human beings. If anyone is uncomfortable with how I live, they can leave me alone. No one can control how I live my life,” he said, reaffirming that his choices are guided by his personal beliefs and experiences.

The musician, who will marry his four wives on January 19, 2025, in Uzere Kingdom, Delta State, encourages others to live according to their hearts. “Don’t do something just because others are doing it. If your heart can handle it, go ahead; if not, don’t. Live your life according to what works for you,” he concluded.
