Shina Peller, a serving federal lawmaker in the Nigerian National Assembly, has made a cryptic comment over the closure of his nightclub, popularly called Quilox by the Lagos State Government.
Information Nigeria had reported that the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, shut down Quilox, on Ozumba Nbadwe Street, Victoria Island, for organising an event without a sound control permit, on Saturday.
Reacting to this incident, Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency in Oyo State, in a Facebook post on Monday, said, “A man who is intimate with God is not intimidated by man. Eye on the ball.”

Meanwhile, according to a statement on Sunday, the enforcement exercise, which was jointly carried out by LASEPA and the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit (task force), took place around 4 pm.
Similarly, the club was sealed off by LASEPA on December 23, 2019 over noise pollution and traffic congestion.
