The people of Ido-Oko Ijesa in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State are set to host the much-anticipated Ido-Oko Ijesa Restoration of Grace 2025, as the Ido-Oko Ijesa Progressive Union (IPU) officially unveils the program and plans for the event.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting, the National President of the IPU, Prince Ademola Adeyeye, expressed profound appreciation to HRM Oba Michael Babatunde Adeyemi Adedeji Adujelewu III, the Ado-Oko of Ido-Oko Ijesa, the sons and daughters of the town, the IPU executives, members, and all well-wishers for their unwavering support both financially and morally in ensuring the success of the upcoming event. He emphasized that the program is designed to foster unity, cultural preservation, and community development.
The IPU, during the meeting, officially announced a six-day lineup of activities aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, spiritual growth, community infrastructure, and economic empowerment. The event will commence on Monday, March 24, 2025, and run through Saturday, March 29, 2025. Below is the schedule of activities:

The meeting was attended by prominent leaders and stakeholders, including HRM Oba Michael Babatunde Adeyemi Adedeji Adujelewu III (Ado Oko of Ido-Oko Ijesa), Prince Ademola Adeyeye (IPU National President), Com’r Timothy Areola (IPU Ex-Officio), High Chief Femi Aluko (Obalora of Ido-Oko), Chief Sunday Ogundipe, Hon. Dosu Komolafe (Loyin of Ido-Oko), Elder Samuel Abey, Elder Folorunso Agbogungboro, Elder Johnson Omoniyi, and Prince Adekusibe Adeyeye (IPU National Organizing Secretary), among others.
Prince Ademola Adeyeye reaffirmed the union’s commitment to fostering development and unity in Ido-Oko Ijesa, urging all members of the community to participate actively in the planned programs. He noted that the Ido-Oko Ijesa Restoration of Grace 2025 will not only celebrate the town’s rich heritage but also serve as a platform to launch new developmental projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.
In his remarks, HRM Oba Michael Babatunde Adeyemi Adedeji Adujelewu III commended the efforts of the IPU executives and encouraged all sons and daughters of Ido-Oko Ijesa to continue their contributions toward the progress of the town. He assured them of the traditional institution’s full support in ensuring the program’s success.
With preparations in full swing, the people of Ido-Oko Ijesa eagerly anticipate a week of impactful activities that will further enhance the town’s growth and development.
