The foundation laying ceremony of the Ajemba of Ijemba Palace took place today, marking a significant milestone for the Ijemba Jesa community. The ceremony was led by the Lord Bishop of Ilesa Anglican Diocese, Right Reverend Asaju, and was attended by the Dean of the Diocese, Reverend Fademi Nationnewslead report.

The occasion saw the presence of all the chiefs, with High Chief Risa of Ijemba Jesa, Chief Matthew Oginni, leading the traditional council. Among the dignitaries was Iya Oba Olori Mary Adewale.
Oba Adewale Oluwabukunmi Adeleke, the Alowolodu II, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the sons and daughters of the Ijemba kingdom.
