Renowned Media personality Toke Makinwa has said she’s open to the idea of becoming a second, third, fourth or even fifth wife, if the chance presents itself.
She made this known during a recent episode of her podcast, Toke Moments, shared on X on Saturday, where she jokingly hinted that she’s now more flexible about marriage.

“At this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to marry again, as a second, third, fourth or fifth wife, I will take it,” she said.

Toke, who was previously married to fitness expert Maje Ayida, parted ways with him in 2017 following allegations of infidelity.
Reflecting on her journey in a past episode, she addressed the societal expectations placed on women, especially those above 40 without children or a partner.
“I am 40, I am single, and I am childless. I said it, and I didn’t die, and that always made me tear up. I used to feel like, how am I 40 and I don’t have a child? How am I 40 and I’m single? How am I 40, and I am alone?” she said.
She also admitted that had she remarried, it might have ended the same way. “Listen, if I am completely honest with you guys, if I had gotten married again, I would have been divorced. Because the lessons never stop.”
Despite it all, Toke said she’s found peace in her achievements and the love that surrounds her, choosing not to be pressured by societal standards.
