Famous singer and founder of Fresh FM radio station, Yinka Ayefele, has praised the music exploits of his protégé, Femi Solar, saying he has carved a special niche for himself in the music field and remained truthful to his craft.

Ayefele who led dignitaries to the house warming party of Solar last weekend congratulated the singer on the successful completion of his country home in Ibadan, noted that the huge structure erected by Solar is a reward of long-time hard work and commitment to his career.

The day had started with a short prayer at Solar’s residence as friends, family members and clergymen gathered to usher the singer into his new abode with prayers and praises to God for granting him grace to complete the five-bedroom apartment.

From his house, guests moved to Maurve 21 at Ring Road area of Ibadan where the big party for his album listening celebration would hold. It was an all-white party affair and the guests came prepared to cheer on Solar with their presence and more.

Popular comedian, Shete was supported by Rotimi, the famous Ibadan-based MC to anchor the event that was the talk of the town for days.

From actors to broadcasters and social media influencers all in attendance, Solar and his SJB band treated the audience who filled the venue to the brim to an evening music of his trademark Jasa gospel music. His appearance sent the crowd into frenzy and he ensured that they didn’t just enjoy the music, they were well treated to different intercontinental dishes.

The audience enjoyed few minutes of the new album, entitled ‘Lifted’ and was rated high by founder of Yes FM, Yemi Sonde and veteran singer, Alariwo of Africa, who were asked to critic the new body of work by the singer.

Produced by Tayo Oladele, ‘Lifted’, according to him was a combination of many musical instrumentations and percussions as they had to spend months in the studio to give their “fans a special music album that will remain evergreen.”

Speaking about the day, Solar said he never expected to see the crowd that turned out at the event as it was meant to be a private party for his fans. “I was surprised to see that hall was filled to the brim. I am excited because it means people love the brand and are ready to support what we have just launched. I feel blessed being a musician who is loved by many people. The net project comes next year but I will keep that under wraps for now”, he added.
