The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for the 2025 Mock UTME, which was conducted on Thursday across Nigeria.

The results have been made available for candidates who took part in the mock examination, providing them with an opportunity to assess their performance ahead of the main UTME.

Fabian Benjamin, the Board’s spokesperson, confirmed the release of the results in a statement issued on Sunday from Abuja.

Candidates who participated in the mock exam can check their results by texting “MOCKRESULT” to either 55019 or 66019 using the registered phone number associated with the examination.

A total of 200,115 candidates had initially registered for the mock UTME, but after a few withdrawals, the number of registered candidates dropped to 200,113.

However, 73,844 candidates were absent on the day of the examination, and another 88 candidates were unable to pass the biometric verification process.

This left 126,181 candidates who were able to successfully sit for the exam, and the results of 115,735 candidates have already been released. The remaining results are still being processed, with 10,446 candidates’ results expected to be available soon.

“Additionally, 10,446 results are still being processed and will be released soon. The Board acknowledges the delays experienced by some candidates during the examination and regrets any inconvenience caused. These challenges are anticipated due to the new features implemented to enhance the overall conduct of the main UTME,” said Benjamin.

JAMB also acknowledged some delays during the examination, attributing them to the new features implemented to improve the conduct of the exam.

Despite these challenges, the Board expressed gratitude for the understanding of candidates and their families.

The mock exam serves as a trial run for the main UTME, offering candidates a glimpse into the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment while helping JAMB evaluate its innovations for the upcoming main examination.
