The above quote by John Maxwell aptly describes Reverend (Dr) Julius Adeniji, a leader par excellence who is renowned for raising upcoming leaders. Adeniji is a pastor, counselor, and management expert. He is a man endowed by God with a solid vision and he pursues this vigorously. He has clarity of his vision and the courage to pursue it. It is to his credit that the presence of visible strengths in his life has endeared many to him.
Reverend Adeniji is a man who has the gargantuan zeal to empower others. He neither places restrictions nor embargo on the potential of people. Rather, he seeks to provide professional counsel and guidance to make one realize his goals in life.
Adeniji’s life is indeed a worthy milestone to track the various accomplishments he has been able to record. He was able to decipher early in life that God needed him beyond his Teacher Training Education. He enrolled at the prestigious Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary (NBTS), Ogbo Mosho for his Bachelor of Theology. He also added other academic feats such as PDGE, M. Ed, and Ph.D. from the University of Lagos. His specialisation is in Guidance and Counselling.
He was at the Centre for Management Development in Lagos where he became a Certified Management Consultant. His educational attainments have been critical reference points for all his protégés. He continues to challenge them to develop their innate capabilities.
It can never be overemphasized that Reverend (Dr) Adeniji is a visionary leader who has shaped the lives of thousands. Through Triumphant Baptist Church, Lagos, God used him to develop and mold several people. It is to his credit that he has an unwavering commitment and dedication to developing the potential and capabilities of others.
A notable feature that distinguishes Julius Adeniji is his life of integrity. According to Dwight Eisenhower, the supreme quality of leadership is unquestionable integrity. Reverend Adeniji leaves no one in doubt about his transparency, sincerity of purpose, and truth. He lives in an exemplary way that is worthy of emulation by others.
An icon of innovation that he is, Adenji believes so much in innovation and creativity. This was evident when he became The Pioneer President of the Lagos West Baptist Conference. He indeed set the pace of innovative style which was also visible when he pastored Triumphant Baptist Church, Lagos. He embraced ideas and innovative techniques that have distinguished the church as a major force to reckon with.
Adeniji has put his cerebral endowments, ministerial training, and leadership qualities into profitable use over the years. He has been preoccupied with raising a new generation of pastors with his teaching at notable theological institutions in the country. He is indeed a scholar of repute and a prolific writer. It is worthy to celebrate a colossus of Theological Education and a titan of innovation and creativity.
