The Labour Party (LP) has suspended the National Treasurer, Ms. Oluchi Opara over what it described as false allegations of financial expenditure.
The decision was taken following the failure of Ms Opara to appear before a five man committee set up to hear her allegations.
The National Publicity Secretary, Pastor Obiora Ifoh, who announced the suspension said the committee was established after a National Working Committee meeting Tuesday night.
