The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rasidi Ladoja has confirmed the first public appearance of Olubadan designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin as he arrives in Ibadan to meet with the kingmakers.
This confirms the exclusive report of the Nigerian Tribune as published in today”s edition that Oba Olakulehin would make a public appearance on Friday.
High Chief Ladoja in a telephone conversation with our correspondent, said, “Baba ti de meaning Baba is around.”
The non-public appearance of Oba Olakulehin before this time has generated heated arguments among the stakeholders including the stakeholders
Nigerian Tribune recalls that the kingmakers in an interview said his nomination cannot be done in absentia.
He is currently at his private residence at No 1, Cassia Street, Alalubose Government Reserved Area in the Ibadan South West Local Government Area of the state.
