The Kebbi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on Thursday promoted 53 senior officers and 91 junior officers to their next ranks.
Addressing the newly promoted officers, the Commandant of the Corps, Mr Kabiru Abubakar Alkamawa, told the officers that their professionalism, hard work, and unwavering commitment had made a significant impact, which they well deserved.
He reminded them that this is not the end of their journey but just another milestone, and that their continued growth, leadership, and service will encourage others to follow in their footsteps and strive for excellence.
“To all members of this distinguished organisation, I encourage you to take pride in the achievements of your colleagues. Let today’s ceremony serve as a reminder of what is possible when we work together as a team towards a common goal.”
“Each of you plays a crucial role in our mission, and it is only through our collective efforts that we will continue to succeed and meet the challenges that lie ahead,” he added.
Mr Alkamawa pointed out that each officer being decorated with new ranks had exemplified the values that form the core of their profession: integrity, courage, discipline, and selfless service.
“These individuals have not only met the high standards set before them but have surpassed expectations, contributing significantly to our collective success,” he said.
