Kogi State Coordinator of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Dr Olufemi Bolarin, has congratulated the State Governor-Elect, Alh. Usman Ododo, on his victory at last Saturday’s Governorship Election.
Dr Bolarin, in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, said the victory is cheering and a clear indication that the Kogi Agenda has come to stay.
According to the State Project Coordinator, the victory is coming at a time when the state needs a tested and trusted man who will sustain the legacies of the new Direction administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
“On behalf of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), I wish to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Kogi State Governor-Elect, and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Comrade Joel Oyibo, on their well-deserved victory at the November 11th Governorship election in the state.”
He noted with satisfaction that the election was peaceful, free, and credible, urging other contestants to accept the result as an act of God because only He gives power.
The project coordinator also congratulated the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for the successful conduct of the election and described him as a game changer.
While expressing confidence in the incoming successor of Governor Bello, Dr Bolarin assured that his office will continue to add value to the state, particularly in the agricultural sector, and more importantly, catalytic intervention projects on livestock productivity and support for value chain actors as well as agricultural institutions to enhance sustainable food security in the state.
