The turnout for the Saturday governorship election in Edo State in Oredo Ward 6, Ministry of Education voting centre, have been low.
The presence of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Olumide Akpata, whose voting unit is located within the voting centre, could not change the trend.

The security build-up from the Mission Road end of the Ring Road, the city centre, up to Urubi, was an indication of the feeling of insecurity in the state.
